Redesigned interfaces to meet demands of different users. In the version of robot car kit V1.0, we used the original expansion board which has many pins available on the board and enables you to add extra sensors than what we provide in the kit as to fulfill more functions and makes it more personalized. But it will require a certain level of electronics knowledge and DIY experiences otherwise you may easily burn your sensors and boards.
To avoid those potential errors from novice user we redesigned the expansion board and cables by adding XH2.54 interfaces in robot car kit V3.0, which makes wiring become very handy and easy and almost impossible to make mistakes when installing sensors. We also reserved the pins on the board so DIY lovers can customize it and have more possibilities.
Line Tracking. Follow your runway. The line tracking modules at the bottom of the car make sure it follows the runway you design with its infrared transmitter tube and an infrared receiver tube. Make sure your runway is clear enough and long enough then you can enjoy a wonderful car racing show.
Bluetooth Control. A smart robot car on your phone. It wouldn’t be smart enough if you can’t control your robot car with your phone. Simply install the Elegoo BLE Tool APP from APP Store and Google Play and team with our HC-08 Bluetooth module you can control your car freely. In our tutorial you will also learn how to edit and send signals to the board and make it run.
Obstacle Avoidance. Fear of damage no more. Under this mode the Elegoo robot car will automatically detect obstacles ahead of it no matter which direction it is from with the ultrasonic sensors on the platform by sending waves and calculating the distance.
